Onion bhajis

19th March 2020: This photo was taken 5 days after the start of lockdown and I was still experimenting with new things to cook. A couple of days before, I had lifted all of the small onions that were still growing and had chopped or sliced them for soups, food or the freezer. There were quite a few long, thin ones so I decided to slice them and use them for onion bhajis. Click here for the recipe: cook onion bhajis. The recipe was complicated by the fact that we didn’t have any gram flour and so we had to make our own by smashing and grinding up chickpeas.
